In Armenia, overcoming social inequality is not resolved through words alone—it requires long-term effort, collaboration, and the transfer of modern knowledge to the new generation. Guided by this principle, the “3D Modeling and Beyond” course of #TeenTech was launched in 2019, involving 12 teenagers from socially vulnerable families, giving them a real chance to improve their quality of life and regain hope for the future.

The program was implemented with the sponsorship of ARLOOPA and in cooperation with World Vision Armenia, developed and carried out by AITC/EIF and the NGO Technologies for Society (TSF). The goal of the program was to equip socially vulnerable teenagers with essential skills that could lead them to stable employment and a dignified life.
The main goal of TeenTech can be summed up in one sentence: a poverty-free Armenia. One in every three teenagers in Armenia lives in poverty, and child poverty is one of the most painful issues in our society. Overcoming this problem requires our effort, will, and participation.
Over seven months, 12 creative and bright teenagers underwent intensive professional training in 3D modeling, while also developing various soft skills and business ideas, such as teamwork, communication, and creative thinking. These are the soft skills that are vital today for success in any field. At the final stage of the program, they received their graduation certificates—symbols of their readiness to take their first steps into leading technology and architectural companies. “Today, they are beginner 3D modelers, and in a few days they will take their first steps into the country’s top tech and architectural companies,” said Ani Manukyan, head of the NGO Technologies for Society, during her welcome speech.
These bright teenagers gained not only knowledge but also the opportunity to continue practical training in various Armenian companies—applying their acquired knowledge in real life. Out of the 12 participants, 8 received job offers upon completing the course.
Programs like this show that social change is possible when there are ideas, resources, and dedication to help the new generation succeed.
